HIOKI and Testo Industrial Services extend their cooperation
Since August this year, the cooperation between the Japanese manufacturer of measuring instruments HIOKI and Testo Industrial Services GmbH has been extended. The expert for quality assurance services is now a certified HIOKI service partner and specialises in the calibration and repair of HIOKI products.
The contact between the two companies was established in May 2019, when a representative of HIOKI Europe was present at the opening of the new repair site of Testo Industrial Services in Hamburg, where he was introduced to the range of services offered in the field of equipment repair. "We have found the right technical expertise that we expect for the service of our HIOKI products," says Hisashi Shimizu, Managing Director of HIOKI Europe GmbH. "In a first conversation in 2019 it quickly became clear that HIOKI is looking for a Europe-wide full-service partner for calibration and repair services. In March 2020, a final supplier audit took place, which finally convinced HIOKI of us as a reliable and competent partner," reports Christoph Bönicke, division manager for repair services at Testo Industrial Services.
At the beginning of August, the contract was finally signed and certified as a service partner for a further four years. HIOKI and Testo Industrial Services would like to further intensify their cooperation in the future. "Plans are already in place to expand the partnership with Testo Industrial Services Support set to receive further HIOKI products from our portfolio, such as battery testers and safety testers ", says Hisashi Shimizu.
